Dress for the day

  • Follow the weather or pick a favourite from five outfit styles.
  • Choose from fifty locally drawn designs, with colours and widths to suit you.
  • Set outfits per app, or switch its borders off. Borders let clicks pass through.

Make yourself at home

Version 0.2.0 users: manual download this once. From version 0.3.0, choose Check for Updates in the menu or Settings.

Updates are ready in Settings. Choose when to download and restart.

  1. Open the downloaded DMG.
  2. Drag Window Wardrobe to Applications.
  3. Open it from Applications, then use the menu-bar shirt to open Settings. First launch offers six skippable setup steps.

Location is requested only if you choose Use current location. Choose a city or a manual outfit without it. Optional Accessibility permission improves standard-window filtering and full-screen detection; basic tracking works without it.

Launch at login is an explicit opt-in.

Your windows stay yours

Artwork is generated locally. Settings and the last good weather result stay on your Mac. There is no telemetry. The app never reads window titles or captures screen content.

Only coordinates or a city query are sent over HTTPS to Open-Meteo for weather and city search. Window/app names, icons, settings, and screen content are never sent.
